Art in the Park-A Gallery of Hope
We are thrilled that our next signature event, Art in the Park—A Gallery of Hope, on February 18th at Broken Sound
Country Club will feature a beautiful exhibition of artwork created by you - our incredible Pap Corps members!
The Pap Corps is all about fostering HOPE through our support of groundbreaking research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. But beyond our outstanding financial contributions, our members epitomize HOPE through their dedication and inspiration!
Conceptualizing HOPE, and understanding what it means to you, is an exciting way to motivate us on our journey to Create a World Without Cancer while providing a stunning backdrop for our 2025 signature event.
Through this exhibition we look forward to seeing how you reflect HOPE through your individual creativity. All pieces submitted for consideration must be original works, created by you alone. There are no time restrictions on when you complete the work. It could be a piece completed several years ago, or something you create especially for this event.
Artwork guidelines are on the flyer below including styles of art and size parameters.
Our main request is that the work must be able to be displayed on an easel, and the sizes are approximate, so we can estimate spacing at the venue.
All those who submit the ‘call-to-artist’ form by October 1st will be eligible to submit a photo of their completed work by November 1st for consideration to be showcased in the exhibition. Those who submit by October 1, will
receive an email with a form to fill out that will detail the name of your piece, the medium, and your artist’s statement about how your piece reflects HOPE. Due to limited space, artists selected to showcase will be notified by November 15.
All artists are responsible for bringing their artwork to the venue by a date determined by the committee and if you are not donating your work to be included in the silent auction, you will be responsible for taking the piece home with you after the event.
There are no restrictions on how many members from a particular chapter can submit for consideration. We look forward to receiving your artwork.
Tickets for this event will be available for purchase on November 18th.
