Meet The Pap Corps’ Staff
Chief Executive Officer
Sally Berenzweig is a recognized leader in the nonprofit world. She is the Cofounder of KidSafe Foundation and served as CEO from 2006-2019. After 14 years with the organization, Berenzweig was ready for change and a new challenge and handed the baton to her successor and began to explore opportunities in the consulting realm until she connected with The Pap Corps leadership, who recruited her to fill the position. “The Pap Corps is an organization that I have a very strong connection with,” said Berenzweig. “My late stepmother (bonus Mom), Bobbi Friedman, was the founder of the Woodfield Country Club chapter and helped raise funds to bring Sylvester to Deerfield Beach. My father Aaron Friedman honors Bobbi’s memory annually when he donates to the Woodfield Chapter largest fundraiser “the Bobbi Friedman Memorial Card Party.” and my mother-in-law Sandy Berenzweig is an active member of the Boca Pointe chapter. Through my family, I have witnessed the dedication and commitment Pap Corps members have for this cause and it’s beyond inspiring . And like so many, I have experienced the heartbreaking loss of too many people I love to cancer. The loss of family and friends fuels my passion to find a cure and the Pap Corp Champions for Cancer Research mission was tailor-made for my skill-set and passion as I launch the next phase of my career. ”Sally has been recognized for her outstanding leadership as a 2019 L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth Honoree. Sally also received the distinguished Jefferson Award for Public Service. In addition to her stellar nonprofit background, Berenzweig is a former Psychotherapist who has a Masters in Education and a Masters in Counseling Psychology. Sally is the Co-Author of a parenting book, two award winning children’s books, elearn trainings an d 8-lesson curriculum for children that has been taught in Palm Beach and Broward County School Districts for over 10 years, Sally is also a member of Soroptimist International.
Chief Financial Officer
Stacia joined The Pap Corps as Chief Financial Officer in July 2019. Stacia comes with over 20 years of finance experience ranging from strategic financial processes, internal controls, and compliance. She has held key leadership roles across multiple industries including nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Stacia brings with her a unique understanding of established corporations as well as national nonprofit organizations which have distinct and diverse financial needs. She has been instrumental in taking companies public as well as management of over $80M within various nonprofit entities.
Stacia is very passionate about giving back and looks forward to a time when there will be a cure for cancer. She resides in Wellington Florida with her husband Edwin and her dog Grace.
Palm Beach County
Sarah originally growing up in the Northeast, moved to Florida in 2011. She joined The Pap Corps team in September 2017. Sarah has dedicated her life to helping others. Bringing over fifteen years of experience in the nonprofit world, she has had made significant contributions in impacting the community for the better.
Sarah specializes in corporate and business development, events & fundraising. She is excited and honored to help our efforts in creating a world without Cancer.
Cheryl joined The Pap Corps in September of 2016. Prior to that, Cheryl worked as a photographer, designer, website developer, and has held several administrative positions within different industries.
Cheryl studied photography and architecture. Her professional background has been varied within the creative, administrative and technology fields.
In her spare time, Cheryl continues to pursue her passion for photography. She likes to draw and has recently delved into the world of 3D printing.
Finance & Operations
Mary joins the Pap Corps with extensive accounting experience and leadership skills gained from over a decade of
working in the accounting industry. This includes a wide range of knowledge in full-cycle accounting management and operations, ranging from newly formed to well-established organizations. She is an articulate communicator with exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
In addition to her accounting background, she brings with her a wealth of experience from the non-profit world acquired from passionately and diligently serving people within Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Mary has always had a heart for giving back and making a difference in the lives of others. For this reason, she gravitated immediately to The Pap Corps because of the specific mission and vision to help create a world without cancer.
Mary currently resides in Fort Lauderdale where she is raising her 4 children. She enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Emily brings passion to The Pap Corps from her growing experience in volunteer engagement and nonprofit administration services. Emily brings over 5 years of comprehensive knowledge in regard to building connective experiences with volunteers as well as providing database and event support. She has participated in many projects for various nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach and Broward County ranging from creative marketing efforts to protocol implementation. Her life mission is to empower and spark meaning for others with a strong desire to continuously giving back to the community in ways that will truly make a difference.
Emily is enthusiastic about dedicating herself to such a powerful mission of changing lives through The Pap Corps. She knows every person has their own unique connection to cancer, and she is looking forward to strengthening all efforts to create a world without it.
Mason joined The Pap Corps team in February of 2021. Coming from operations in the private sector, Mason brings a unique understanding of business development and a fresh take on the non-profit sphere. Dedicated to supporting his team, Mason looks to give back and help lead the fight in cancer research. He truly wants to make a difference and change the world.
