Meet The Pap Corps’ Staff
Chief Executive Officer
Sally Berenzweig is a recognized leader in the nonprofit world. She is the Cofounder of KidSafe Foundation and served as CEO from 2006-2019. After 14 years with the organization, Berenzweig was ready for change and a new challenge and handed the baton to her successor and began to explore opportunities in the consulting realm until she connected with The Pap Corps leadership, who recruited her to fill the position. “The Pap Corps is an organization that I have a very strong connection with,” said Berenzweig. “My late stepmother (bonus Mom), Bobbi Friedman, was the founder of the Woodfield Country Club chapter and helped raise funds to bring Sylvester to Deerfield Beach. My father Aaron Friedman honors Bobbi’s memory annually when he donates to the Woodfield Chapter largest fundraiser “the Bobbi Friedman Memorial Card Party.” and my mother-in-law Sandy Berenzweig is an active member of the Boca Pointe chapter. Through my family, I have witnessed the dedication and commitment Pap Corps members have for this cause and it’s beyond inspiring . And like so many, I have experienced the heartbreaking loss of too many people I love to cancer. The loss of family and friends fuels my passion to find a cure and the Pap Corp Champions for Cancer Research mission was tailor-made for my skill-set and passion as I launch the next phase of my career. ”Sally has been recognized for her outstanding leadership as a 2019 L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth Honoree. Sally also received the distinguished Jefferson Award for Public Service. In addition to her stellar nonprofit background, Berenzweig is a former Psychotherapist who has a Masters in Education and a Masters in Counseling Psychology. Sally is the Co-Author of a parenting book, two award winning children’s books, elearn trainings an d 8-lesson curriculum for children that has been taught in Palm Beach and Broward County School Districts for over 10 years, Sally is also a member of Soroptimist International.
Director of Palm Beach
Toni May is the Emmy-award winning television journalist who is founder of May I Media, a boutique branding and video storytelling agency. She has worked with dozens of non-profit organizations in the Palm Beach County area and has been acting as Executive Director of two large organizations. The former journalist has created and led fundraising campaigns, designed branding for non-profits and worked with both boards and staff on team development and donor engagement.
May was the host & Executive Producer of several weekly public affairs & lifestyle shows still airing in Palm Beach County. During her 15 years on the air at WXEL-TV, she produced hundreds of stories on a wide range of topics of local interest including health, education, community improvements, environmental issues and politics. Under her leadership, WXEL’s only locally produced weekly show won a regional Emmy Award, a Society of Professional Journalist award, an Associated Press award for best public affairs in the state and a prestigious NETA Award as best public affairs show in the nation.
She obtained her degree in Broadcasting from the University of Florida and is a native Floridian. She’s married with two grown children and two rescue pups.
Finance & Operations
Director of Finance
Mary joins the Pap Corps with extensive accounting experience and leadership skills gained from over a decade of
working in the accounting industry. This includes a wide range of knowledge in full-cycle accounting management and operations, ranging from newly formed to well-established organizations. She is an articulate communicator with exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
In addition to her accounting background, she brings with her a wealth of experience from the non-profit world acquired from passionately and diligently serving people within Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Mary has always had a heart for giving back and making a difference in the lives of others. For this reason, she gravitated immediately to The Pap Corps because of the specific mission and vision to help create a world without cancer.
Mary currently resides in Fort Lauderdale where she is raising her 4 children. She enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Accounts Receivable Specialist
Mary Denaro is a South Florida Native and Board-Certified Patient Advocate. She has over ten years of experience working in the healthcare industry from revenue cycle management to patient advocacy. Mary is passionate about helping and serving others. As a breast cancer thriver, she is very excited to join The Pap Corps organization to help create a world without cancer through innovative cancer research. Mary loves the outdoors and nature photography. You will find her hiking, hanging out at the beach, or spending time with her family in her free time.
Cheryl joined The Pap Corps in September of 2016. Prior to that, Cheryl worked as a photographer, designer, website developer, and has held several administrative positions within different industries.
Cheryl studied photography and architecture. Her professional background has been varied within the creative, administrative and technology fields.
In her spare time, Cheryl continues to pursue her passion for photography. She likes to draw and has recently delved into the world of 3D printing.
Robin Gaynor comes from 13 years of non-profit work in the Educational field. Robin is excited to work for an organization that gives back to help others. For the last 5 years she has been the accounting and administrative support in the Fundraising Department of a large educational organization in the South Florida area.
With her own family members affected by cancer she is grateful to be able to work for The Pap Corps and help champion our mission.
She enjoys spending time with her two teenage sons, friends and family, outdoor activities, and traveling.
Sandra Euler is an accomplished Executive Coordinator and previous business owner in South Jersey prior to coming to Florida, she is most comfortable in the office environment.
With cancer effecting close friends, she looks forward to being a part of The Pap Corps.
Sandra loves being at the beach, traveling, yoga, volunteering and visiting with her family.
