Survivorship Mentor Program

Are you, or someone you know a cancer survivor who wants to make a difference for other cancer patients? The Pap Corps is looking for members who are at least one year survivors of cancer to participate in a Peer Mentor Training at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Come join us for our Peer Mentor Training! If you are interested, or would like more information, please fill out the form below. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Mentors must be at least one year post active treatment (not including maintenance therapy.)

Mentors must have received treatment at Sylvester.

Mentors will undergo an interview, complete a questionnaire that will be used to make matches, and receive extensive training via video conferencing.

Applying to become a mentor does not guarantee you will receive an assignment.

Once matched, mentors will provide support via phone, text, email, and/or video conferencing as agreed upon with patient.

This is a voluntary role.
