Dr. Krishna Komanduri

The month of May is dedicated to raising awareness about cancer research. Today, we feature Dr. Krishna Komanduri, Director of the Adult Stem Cell Transplant Program at Sylvester. Dr. Komanduri joined Sylvester in 2008 from MD Anderson Cancer Center. Under his leadership, the Adult Stem Cell Transplant Program has grown significantly in recent years, performing hundreds of transplants. In addition, he and his team have been instrumental in the development of immunotherapy trials at Sylvester, including high-profile trials of T cells targeting blood cancers. Dr. Komanduri was also the 2017 President of the American Society of Transplantation and Cellular Therapy.
